Legendary rock singer Graham Bonnet — known for his work with Rainbow, Alcatrazz, and the Michael Schenker Group — has revealed exciting details about the upcoming Graham Bonnet Band studio album, including a special guest appearance by Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson.

In a recent Talk Louder podcast interview, Bonnet confirmed that Dickinson has already recorded his vocal parts for a track titled “The Fifth Force of Nature”. On the song, Dickinson performs the last verse, last pre-chorus, chorus, and ad-libs, while Bonnet handles the first verse, pre-chorus, and chorus.

Thematically, the song explores existential questions about reality and perception, inspired by scientific speculation about a so-called “fifth force of nature” — a concept that proposes influences beyond the four known fundamental forces. Bonnet said he was fascinated (and somewhat unnerved) by the idea.

Bonnet also shared that the band is gearing up for studio sessions and looking forward to new equipment — including a new microphone — to complete his own parts.

According to Bonnet, his friendship with Dickinson goes back decades. Dickinson reportedly told associates that he rarely does guest appearances, but made an exception for Bonnet — underscoring the depth of mutual respect between the two singers.

In addition to this new studio work, the Graham Bonnet Band released a live album — Lost In Hollywood Again — on December 12, 2025 via Frontiers Music Srl. The 16-track set was recorded at the iconic Whisky a Go Go in Los Angeles and traverses Bonnet’s storied career, from Rainbow classics to original GBB material.

Bonnet also mentioned that Russ Ballard has contributed songs — including potential fits for the album — recalling Ballard’s earlier pop success with “Since You’ve Been Gone.”

This collaboration marks one of Bruce Dickinson’s most talked-about guest appearances in recent years — and a rare studio duet with another legendary vocalist.
