Dan Byrne is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting voices in UK rock today. Born on the Mersey in Liverpool, Byrne broke through initially with his solo work following earlier success as the frontman of Revival Black. Over recent years, he has steadily built momentum with powerful singles and strong live performances that have drawn attention across the rock world.
In 2026, Byrne takes a major step forward with the release of his debut full-length album, This Is Where The Show Begins, due on 22 May 2026 through Frontiers Music s.r.l., the Italian label known for championing rock artists globally. His team at Steelhouse Live, led by managers Max and Mikey, are guiding his artistic direction and helping build Byrne’s presence internationally.
The Album: This Is Where The Show Begins
This Is Where The Show Begins showcases Byrne’s evolution as a songwriter and vocalist. Across ten tracks, he blends elements of classic hard rock with contemporary edge, creating songs that are both immediate and emotionally resonant. At the centre of it all is his voice — powerful, expressive, and versatile, capable of delivering commanding rock anthems and subtler, more reflective moments with equal impact.
The record’s lead singles include:
“Saviour” – a hard-charging opener that sets the tone for the album’s swagger and grit.
“She’s The Devil” – a standout rock track that pairs raw attitude with thematic depth, exploring danger and attraction while giving Byrne plenty of room to demonstrate his vocal range.
Produced by David Radahd-Jones, the album’s sound balances widescreen rock energy with moments of dynamic subtlety, giving each track its own identity while building a cohesive artistic statement.
Vocal Power & Comparisons
One of Byrne’s most striking qualities is his voice. With a wide range and emotional breadth, his delivery has drawn comparisons — in terms of sheer impact and intensity — to that of Chris Cornell, especially when tackling higher registers or emotionally charged material. While Byrne’s style remains his own, the comparison helps illustrate how his voice can shift from raw grit to soaring clarity in a way few modern rock vocalists manage.
