Blind Channel are officially back. The Finnish nu-metal outfit have ended their hiatus and announced their new album, Painstream, arriving on October 30 via Century Media Records.

Painstream will be the follow-up to 2024’s Exit Emotions and marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band. Blind Channel stepped away from the spotlight towards the end of 2024, while the departure of vocalist Joel Hokka in 2025 left their future looking increasingly uncertain. Now, the silence has finally been broken — and not quietly.
The band have introduced the album with two new singles, “Diana” and “No Encores In A Swan Song”, offering the first glimpse of Blind Channel’s sound without Hokka.
The band comments:
“In a world filled with uncertainty, conflict and division, pain is one thing all humans share. Rather than separating us, Painstream explores the idea that pain can unite us, reminding us of our common humanity.”
The comeback will continue over the next few months. A third single is scheduled for September 3, followed by another track on October 1, before Painstream arrives in full on October 30.
The twelve-track record will also feature a guest appearance from Of Mice & Men vocalist Aaron Pauley on “Into The Void”. Elsewhere, titles such as “Messiah”, “Youthanasia”, “Scapegoat” and “Villain In Your Story” suggest that Blind Channel have returned with plenty still to get off their chest.
Painstream tracklist:
Messiah
Youthanasia
Stars We See
Into The Void (feat. Aaron Pauley of Of Mice & Men)
Types Of Killing
Revolution: Now
Me Versus Me
Scapegoat
Villain In Your Story
Diana
No Encores In A Swan Song
Ache

Blind Channel will take the new era on the road in February and March 2027 with an extensive UK and European tour. Further information — including ticket details — will be revealed next month.
The UK leg begins in Bristol on February 25 before visiting Wolverhampton, Nottingham, Glasgow and Manchester, concluding with a London show on March 3.
After almost two years of uncertainty, Blind Channel are no longer asking what comes next. Painstream is the answer — and the comeback has already begun.
