Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats have shared ‘House By The Grave’, the opening track from their forthcoming album, Shapes Of Midnight, arriving on 18th September via Killer Candy Records.
Partly inspired by Edgar Allan Poe’s The Masque Of The Red Death, the record promises another descent into the band’s unmistakable world of vintage horror, psychedelic distortion and gloriously sinister riffs.
“This is one of my favourite songs that we’ve ever done and the perfect way to open up the album,” guitarist Kevin Starrs.
Recorded at the legendary Abbey Road Studios using vintage Neumann microphones and EMI equipment, Shapes Of Midnight follows 2024’s cinematic Nell’ Ora Blu and marks the band’s return to a more traditional full-length format.
Uncle Acid and the Deadbeats will tour extensively in support of the album, beginning with a North American run in September and October before returning home for nine UK shows in November with The Wytches.
