JAYLER Hit the Runway with Cinematic ‘The Getaway’ Video Ahead of Deep Purple Arena Tour

Updated: Sep 25
British rising rockers JAYLER have unveiled an ambitious new video for ‘The Getaway’ as they prepare to join Deep Purple for a mammoth 37-date arena tour across Europe and the UK.

Taken from the band’s debut album, Voices Unheard, the track arrives with a visual built around freedom, brotherhood and the pull of whatever might be waiting beyond the horizon. No destination appears to be required. A classic Mustang and a warbird, however, certainly help.
Filmed at Cotswold Airport, the video places James Bartholomew, Tyler Arrowsmith, Ricky Hodgkiss and Ed Evans among vast runways, industrial hangars and open skies. The band arrive in a 1965 Ford Mustang before performing at the airfield, while flyovers from a Yakovlev Yak-3, sweeping runway shots and a rooftop guitar solo carry the story towards a golden-hour finale.
“‘The Getaway’ isn’t about running away — it’s about heading towards something. It’s freedom, brotherhood and chasing whatever comes next. No destination. No explanation. Just The Getaway.” — JAYLER
The release extends what has already been a landmark year for the young British quartet. JAYLER opened for Guns N’ Roses at Monsters of Rock Brazil, followed by shows supporting Lynyrd Skynyrd in Brazil and several UK appearances with Sammy Hagar.
Their debut album, Voices Unheard, was released through Silver Lining Music in May and made an immediate impression on the UK charts. It reached No. 2 on the UK Independent Album Breakers Chart, No. 3 on the Official Rock & Metal Albums Chart and No. 5 on the Official Independent Albums Chart.
Produced by George Perks, the record offers a modern route into the sort of direct, guitar-led rock that was designed to grow considerably louder when placed inside an arena.
JAYLER join Deep Purple for 37 shows
The next step is comfortably their largest yet. JAYLER will support Deep Purple across 37 arena dates, beginning at Arena 8888 in Sofia on 29 September and travelling through mainland Europe before reaching the UK in November.
The UK leg opens at Newcastle’s Utilita Arena on 18 November and continues through Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester. It concludes with two very different London nights: the Eventim Apollo on 24 November and the Royal Albert Hall on 25 November.
UK tour dates
18 November — Utilita Arena, Newcastle
19 November — OVO Hydro, Glasgow
21 November — bp pulse LIVE, Birmingham
22 November — AO Arena, Manchester
24 November — Eventim Apollo, London
25 November — Royal Albert Hall, London
Behind-the-scenes footage and live material filmed during the tour will continue the story of ‘The Getaway’ throughout the autumn. Considering where the year began and where it is about to finish, the title now feels less like an escape plan and rather more like a statement of intent.
