Rhino Records has officially announced the release of Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007–2009, a comprehensive new compilation documenting the final recorded chapter of Ronnie James Dio’s work with the members of Black Sabbath, released under the name Heaven & Hell.
Scheduled for release on March 27, 2026, the collection will be available in multiple formats, including 4CD + Blu-ray and 7LP vinyl box sets, and is designed as the ultimate archive of this era.
Formed in the mid-2000s to differentiate the Dio-fronted lineup from other incarnations of Black Sabbath, Heaven & Hell reunited Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Vinny Appice, delivering a darker, heavier sound that resonated strongly with long-time fans.

The box set includes:
The Devil You Know (2009) The only studio album released under the Heaven & Hell name and the final studio recording of Dio’s career.
Live from Radio City Music Hall (2007) Capturing the band’s triumphant return to the stage in New York.
Neon Nights: 30 Years of Heaven & Hell – Live at Wacken (2009) Recorded at one of the world’s most iconic metal festivals, showcasing the band at full power.
In addition, the Blu-ray edition features full concert footage, while the box-set is complemented by a hardcover book with rare photos, new liner notes, and a tour poster replica, making it a must-have for collectors.
Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007–2009 stands as a powerful tribute to Ronnie James Dio’s final chapter, and a reminder of how vital, relevant and uncompromising this lineup remained until the very end.
