BLUE MEDUSA, the new band led by former ARCH ENEMY vocalist ALISSA WHITE-GLUZ, have unleashed their powerful third single, ‘CROCODILE.’, following ‘Checkmate’ and ‘Flying Monkey’.

Dark, tense and deeply unsettling, the track captures the creeping sensation that danger is close at hand, lurking beneath an apparently safe or familiar surface.

“‘Crocodile.’ is about that feeling that you’re being watched… that instinctive dread when you know something dangerous is nearby, even though you can’t see it,” explains White-Gluz. “That tension between what you perceive and what you sense; that is where the song lives.”

The release coincided with BLUE MEDUSA’s first-ever live performance on Friday, September 4, at the inaugural Corrupted Blood Club Show at Huxleys Neue Welt in Berlin. The entire line-up was kept secret until the event itself, with BLUE MEDUSA appearing alongside surprise headliners HEAVEN SHALL BURN and KREATOR.

Their short debut set featured all three singles — ‘Flying Monkey, ‘CROCODILE.’ and ‘Checkmate’ — alongside ‘The Wolf You Feed’, White-Gluz’s 2023 collaboration with NITA STRAUSS. The 25-minute performance also introduced the complete live band, with guitarists Alyssa Day and Dani Sophia joined by bassist Alicia Vigil and drummer Delaney Jaster.
