Stonedead Festival continues to establish itself as one of the most essential summer events for hard rock and classic metal fans in the UK.

Returning to Newark Showground on August 29, the one-day, one-stage festival keeps its fan-first philosophy intact, delivering a lineup built for people who actually live for this music rather than just festival tourism.

This year’s biggest names include Europe as headliners, celebrating the 40th anniversary of The Final Countdown, alongside German heavy metal legends Accept and British melodic rock royalty Magnum, honoring the legacy of Tony Clarkin.

Beyond the obvious heavy hitters, the undercard looks strong too, with names like Armored Saint, Battle Beast, The Damn Truth, Crobot, Asomvel and Aethoria helping shape a lineup that feels genuinely curated rather than overloaded.

That balance is exactly why Stonedead keeps growing. It still feels like a festival built by rock fans for rock fans — less corporate gigantism, more real community.

We’ll soon be putting together a special video breaking down the full lineup and talking through the must-see sets.

What you can already enjoy right now, though, is our official Stonedead Festival playlist on iTunes and Youtube — the perfect way to get ready before August arrives.
