Imminence Announce Axis Mundi Film and Exclusive Cinema Screenings Ahead of New Album
Imminence are taking Axis Mundi to the cinema before it reaches headphones. The Swedish metalcore band have announced a series of exclusive screenings created with Sumerian Pictures, in association with Sumerian Records, ahead of the album’s release on 2 October.
The one-night events combine film with an early listen to tracks from the record, including previously unheard music. Never-before-seen visuals will also bring the Axis Mundi story to its conclusion. For fans who have followed the album’s unfolding visual world, the screenings promise the most complete look at it yet.
There is something fitting about hearing new Imminence music in a cinema. Their songs have always had a cinematic streak, and this gives the band room to present the record’s sound and imagery together before its official release.
